Students at one Northern Michigan school district will get to sleep in an extra hour once a month this coming school year.
Cadillac Area Public Schools is implementing a program called Late Start Mondays
. CAPS Superintendent Jo Spry says it is a chance for teachers to discuss how they can help students meet increased standards from the state.
Five other schools within the Wexford-Missaukee Intermediate School District are also participating.
