Texting program will help suicidal teens

During times of crisis, families across Northern Michigan turn to Third Level Crisis

Intervention Center

in Traverse City for counseling and hope.

Now a $45,000 grant is going to help the organization reach out in a way they never could before.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is giving Third Level the money to start a new text message response system for suicidal teenagers.

The program will begin in a few months, and as soon as the phone number is in place 7&4 News will let you know.
