Traverse Area District Library hosts pajama drive

People can donate new pajamas at the TADL Woodmere Branch March 1st-15th.

The Traverse Area District Library Woodmere Branch is hosting a pajama drive March 1st-15th.

Area residents are asked to donate new, with tags, pajamas ranging in size from newborn to children's size 12.

All pajamas collected in the drive will be donated to local children in need, including those staying at Traverse City's Goodwill Inn.

The pajama drive is a collaboration between TADL and the Pajama Program: One Million Good Nights, a nonprofit organization that provides new pajamas to children in need.

The pajama drive will conclude on Saturday, March 15th with a "Pajama Jam Party & Puppet Show" at 11 a.m. In addition to the puppet show, the event will include stories, songs, and more. Children are invited to wear their own pajamas and even bring their favorite stuffed animal.
