Traverse City woman jailed after meth lab found in her home

A woman was arrested after law officials discovered a meth lab in her home.

Traverse City law enforcement including the Traverse Narcotics Team and the Michigan State Police investigated a Traverse City home where they believed methamphetamine was being manufactured. On Thursday, officers executed a search warrant for the home on Barlow Street near Centre Street.

A 42-year-old woman who lived there was arrested and lodged in the Grand Traverse County Jail on meth related charges after chemicals and an apparatus used to make meth was found in the home. She also received medical treatment for injuries that officials suspect are related to the meth manufacturing process.
