Writer's Minute: Daniel Hendrix creates characters on historic Beaver Island
In this week's Writers' Minute, author Daniel Hendrix tells of the inspiration behind his work of historical fiction, "The King's Daughter."
Hendrix' book tells the story of 4 Irishmen who stumble upon Beaver Island and Lake Michigan and settle within the Mormon community there. "The King's Daughter" places Hendrix's fictional characters into a historic, real setting. Follow the daughter through a love triangle, her father's assassination, and the collapse of her kingdom.
You can find "The King's Daughter" at Horizon Books and Brilliant Books as well as Amazon.com.
