In this week's Writer's Minute, students involved in the Front Street Writers program talked about an event they are currently preparing for.On Thursday, January 23 the Front Street Writers will host a public reading from 6-8 PM where members of the community can experience some of the work these students have been working on at no cost.
The Front Street Writers is a tuition-free creative writing intensive for high school juniors and seniors. The whole program is affiliated with the National Writers Series in partnership with TCAPS.
Kerrey Woughter is the Front Street Writers co-director, and Susan Ness and Rand Michaels are students participating in the program. This event is the first of two public readings and will include Spoken Word, Fiction excerpts, poetry, conversation and refreshments.
