Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf has been more productive than Detroit Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg in their first-round series.
That's a big reason Anaheim has a shot to eliminate the Red Wings in Game 6 on Friday night at Joe Louis Arena.
Getzlaf made it 2-2 with 31 seconds left in the second period of Wednesday night's 3-2 overtime victory. He is among NHL leaders with three goals in the playoffs and five points.
Zetterberg, meanwhile, hasn't scored in the playoffs in nearly 13 months. He has gone a career-high seven postseason games without a goal dating to last year's first-round setback against Nashville.
The Red Wings hope getting Justin Abdelkader back on Zetterberg's line will help him and their team that is on the brink of elimination.
