Orlovsky, Moore will see time at QB for Lions

Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell says backup quarterbacks Dan Orlovsky and Kellen Moore will see a significant increase in playing time in the team's final preseason game Thursday against the Buffalo Bills.

Orlovsky spent four seasons in Detroit from 2005-2008, starting seven games during the team's 0-16 2008 season. He appears to have secured the team's backup quarterback role after running the second-string offense in Detroit's first three preseason games.

Moore has never appeared in a regular season game during his two seasons in Detroit. He faces a fight to make the team's final roster, since Caldwell says the team has not decided whether to keep three quarterbacks or use the roster spot to increase depth at another position.
