The Wolverines and Spartans took to the field Saturday in a heated football matchup.
The State Theatre in Traverse City gave fans of both universities the chance to come together under one roof to watch the game on the big screen.
The free viewing party allowed for some good-natured competition between the rival fan-bases.
â??I'm up here with about 20 friends right now and we're here for the weekend. We wanted to see the game, and there's not a better place than here to do this,â?? said Wolverine fan Scott Crawford.
â??I love the State Theatre. I love that they do this. Brings everybody together, brings everybody downtown. I love it! And it's so great to see it on the big screen,â?? said Spartan fan Jan Stump.
In the end the Spartans came out on top with a final score of 29-6.
