Beal City falls in D8 state title game to Muskegon CC

Alex Lewandowski ran for over 200 yards and scored three touchdowns to help Muskegon Catholic Central beat Beal City 35-12 and win the Division 8 state football championship at Ford Field.

Catholic Central also got over 100 yards rushing on Friday from quarterback Nick Holt. The Crusaders completed their season at 12-2.

They led 14-6 at the half.

Lewandowski scored both of his team's touchdowns in the first half. They came on a 78-yard run with 8:21 left in the first quarter and a 1-yard run with 6:21 remaining in the second.

Beal City finished 13-1.
