Buckley, Manton and Ludington are all Breslin Bound in boys hoops

The Buckley Bears clinched their first trip to the state semifinals with a 58-47 win over Tri Unity Christian on Tuesday night.

Spots in the state semifinals at the Breslin Center in East Lansing were up for grabs on Tuesday night in the MHSAA boys basketball quarterfinals.

Buckley secured its first trip in program history with a 58-47 win over Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian in Class D. Check out the video for a look back at the game and hear comments from head coach Blair Moss and junior Denver Cade.

Wexford County will be sending two teams to East Lansing as the Manton Rangers topped Negaunee in a Class C quarterfinal 51-49 in overtime. Also making the state semifinals in Class B is Ludington. The Orioles looked unstoppable in their 69-43 win over Lake Fenton.

Hillman also competed in a Class D quarterfinal on Tuesday night. The Tigers fell to top ranked Powers North Central 74-61.
