The Breslin Center was packed with excitement for another jam-packed session of high school hoops Thursday and Friday. Three northern Michigan boys basketball teams got to participate in the state semifinals this year down in East Lansing.
The Cadillac Vikings were appearing in their second straight semifinal in Class B, but unfortunately fell short to Benton Harbor 69-52 Friday night.
Frankfort and Cedarville played in Class D semifinals on Thursday. The Panthers had trouble early with Southfield Christian before losing 97-68. The Trojans hung around in their ball game against Adrian Lenawee Christian before eventually falling to the Cougars 67-58.
