Haske retiring as St. Francis boys and girls basketball coach

Haske has served as head coach of both the boys and girls basketball programs each of the last two seasons.

Traverse City St. Francis boys and girls basketball coach Keith Haske has resigned from his position as head of both Gladiator programs.

Haske's lengthy coaching career included time at St. Johns before he took over at Charlevoix in 1998 and moved to St. Francis in 2010.

The position with the Glads began with the boys program and then Haske took over both teams in the Fall of 2015.

He remained committed to coaching both Gladiator teams despite battling throat cancer the past few seasons.

Haske spent seven years with St. Francis that included trips to the boys basketball state finals in 2012 and the girls basketball state finals in 2016. He also led the Rayder boys and girls programs to the state finals in each of their 2004 basketball seasons.
