College: Ohio University

Corbin joined the 7&4 team in February of 2018 as a multimedia journalist and reporter. This is his first official gig in the broadcast industry and he’s eager to soak up all that Northern Michigan has to offer.

After a childhood spent exclusively in the Greater Cincinnati area, Corbin graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio in April of 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism with specializations in Sports Administration and Theater.

While at OU, Corbin worked at WOUB-PBS, producing content both on and off-air for Newswatch, Gridiron Glory and Hardwood Heroes. He covered the Ohio Bobcats Men’s Basketball and Football teams as a beat reporter for Speakeasy Online Magazine. In addition to his journalism work, Corbin was an Ohio University campus tour guide and a Learning Community Leader for incoming freshmen.

During college, Corbin interned at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, assisting the sports department in the Falls of 2016 and 2017. He would like to thank everyone at WKRC for helping him learn more in preparation for this career.

In high school, he was a three-sport athlete (soccer, tennis, swimming), a member of the award-winning Fairfield Choraliers show choir and Vice President of Fairfield High School’s class of 2013. Despite not playing varsity basketball, he welcomes any and all challengers on the court, where they may get a glimpse of his “elite” stepback jumper.

When he’s not reporting the news, Corbin loves spending time with his infant daughter, Blake, and girlfriend, Shannon. He enjoys his PlayStation and dominating his friends on NBA2K and FIFA. Corbin is also a devout Cleveland Browns (his mom is from Cleveland, don’t judge) and Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoys discovering the new ways his teams will let him down at any chance.

He would also like to use this space to say that he misses his family and his golden retriever, Tucker.
