GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Tuesday was Heritage Day at the National Cherry Festival and it ended with the annual Heritage Parade!

It's the first of three Cherry Festival parades, with more than 50 groups strolling down Front Street, to honor the area's people and history.

The 1.3 mile route went down Front Street and ended on Union Street, bringing out plenty crowd favorites including The Band of Second Time Arounders.

The Heritage Parade is roughly half the size of the Cherry Royale Parade, which takes place Saturday starting at 11:15 a.m.
