GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- What better way to spend your Fourth of July then with the National Cherry Festival and the multi-platinum selling band, Three Days Grace!
Since 2003, Three Days Grace has staked a spot amongst the hard rock vanguard, quietly breaking records, toppling charts, moving millions of units worldwide and making history by holding the all-time record for "most #1 single at Active Rock Radio ever" with 13.
To date, the band's veritable arsenal of number one songs includes "Chalk Outline", "The High Road", "Misery Loves My Company", "World So Cold", "Good Life", "Break", "Never Too Late", "Animal I Have Become," "Pain", "Just Like You", "Home" and the current chart topper, "The Mountain."
“We were really lucky to catch the band near the end of a short break before they head out for a rest-of-the-summer tour with Avenged Sevenfold and Prophets of Rage” said Kat Paye, Executive Director of the National Cherry Festival. “The traditional Traverse City Independence Day fireworks show will immediately follow the Three Days Grace show”, added Paye. Their latest single, The Mountain, hit #1 in national active radio spins on the All Access chart the week of April 1st.
Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, April 20 at 9 a.m.
The National Cherry Festival runs from June 30 to July 7.
