Jeffrey the camel is turning 11 and you're invited to his party.

OCEANA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- If you're looking for an event this weekend for the whole family, a trip to a farm in Oceana County may be in order.

Jeffrey the Camel is celebrating his 11th birthday and the people at Lewis Farms and Petting Zoo is planning a big party.

On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. several events will be happening around the farm to celebrate Jeffrey's big day.

Admission to the event is $8.95 (free for kids 2 and under) and include live music by the Silverado Band, face painting, scavenger hunt and a kids dance party.

There will also be a corn roast with all you can eat sweet corn dipped in butter with all the fixings. The corn roast is an additional $8.95 for adults and $5.95 for kids and also includes your choice of hamburger, hotdog or chicken strips.

At 2 p.m. a crowd will gather to sing Jeffrey happy birthday and watch him eat cake while everyone else gets a slice of cake and ice cream too.

At 3 p.m. they're rolling out the candy cannon to shoot more than 100 pounds of candy into the crowd.

Plenty of Jeffrey's animals friends will be at the farm for the party as well.

Lewis Farms in also debuting a carousel, a corny barn and paved sidewalks for the 2018 season.
