NORTHERN MICHIGAN, (WPBN/WGTU) --– Looking for a fun and easy recipe you can make for your family during this busy holiday season? This might be it!

Lisa Maxbauer Price, a Traverse City mother and food writer, shares a delicious recipe for Baked Oatmeal.

Ingredients:

4 cups milk

2 tsp. baking powder

3 cups oatmeal

1 Tbsp vanilla

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 apple, peeled and diced

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup nuts, chopped

1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and pour into a buttered 9x13 pan.

3. Place pan on cookie sheet and bake for 35-45 minutes until browned and bubbly.

4. Scoop into bowls and serve.
