Alleged victim of sexual assault dies, accused could walk free

The criminal sexual conduct case against Raymond Neeley, Jr. could be affected after the alleged victim dies.

OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The case against a man accused of dozens of charges of criminal sexual conduct could be affected.

Otsego County Prosecutor Brendan Curran said the alleged victim of Raymond Neeley Jr. has died and it could impact the case.

In April, Neeley was charged with 60 counts of criminal sexual conduct that allegedly dates back to 2009.

The prosecutor said he has until the next court date in mid-July to decide how to move forward with the case.
