Army engineers release projected water levels in Great Lakes

MICHIGAN (WPBN/WGTU) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has released the forecasted water levels for all the Great Lakes.

According to the Army Corps, all the lakes are above their long-term average for December and January.

The forecast shows lakes Superior and Erie have a small chance of reaching or breaking their record highs in the spring or early summer.

The solid red lines show recorded levels, the dotted green lines show the projected levels and the dotted blue lines show the average.
