Cheboygan home searched for guns after July arrest
CHEBOYGAN, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- Police and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives searched the home of a man arrested in Grayling back in July.
Gary Mero was arrested by Grayling Police after crashing into other cars outside of Spike's Keg O' Nails.
Police found several different kinds of drugs, including meth.
They also found seven guns and thousands of dollars in cash.
Mero is still in jail in Crawford County.
Earlier this week, Mero's home in Cheboygan was searched by the ATF and police.
They seized dozens of guns from the house.
Two relatives of Mero were home, but were not arrested.
The ATF says Gary Mero is prohibited from having any firearms.
