ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The gymnastics coach at a Michigan university has been put on administrative leave.
According to Central Michigan University, gymnastics Head Coach Jerry Reighard has been placed on paid leave while the school handles an internal investigation.
The school's athletic director said the investigation into Reighard has nothing to do with Larry Nassar's case of Title IX.
Reighard took over the gymnastics program back in 1984.
CMU said Associate Head Coach Christine MacDonald will provide leadership during Reighard's leave.
