Cold week ahead

Look for scattered light snow showers through the night. West wind 5-15 mph will create some very low wind chills. Low-temperature readings tonight will be 5 below to 10 above which means wind chills tonight well below zero.

Monday will be partly sunny with some scattered light snow showers. Highs 12 to 20 degrees around northern Michigan. West wind gusts will be 10-20 mph with occasional gusts to 25 mph.

On Tuesday, it will be partly sunny with highs remaining cold, even for February. Highs 10 to 18 degrees. Northwest wind 5-15 mph.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with highs ranging between 15 to 25 degrees. Snow showers return.

Come Thursday and through the weekend, there will not be much change in temperatures. It's a cold week ahead.
