Dental staff builds bunk beds at holiday party

Staff from Dental Health Professionals in Cadillac decided to build bunk beds rather than have a holiday party this year.

WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- Staff members at Dental Health Professionals in Cadillac decided to do something different for their holiday party this year.

They spent Friday night building bunk beds for kids who don't have beds to sleep in.

They did it with the Wexford/Missaukee County chapter of the organization "Sleep In Heavenly Peace".

"Sleep In Heavenly Peace" is a national organization that builds beds for kids who don't have them.

Staff members say they were excited to volunteer for a good cause.

"We thought you know we can do something about this. We can do something in a big way. We have a lot of people that work for us and people are excited to do something different this year and to get to roll up our sleeves and to get involved hands on with a project, to see it from start to finish, what else could you ask for," said Jenny Reaume, a staff member at Dental Health Professionals.

If you would like to get involved with the Wexford/Missaukee Chapter of "Sleep In Heavenly Peace", you can contact Mekoe Peterson at 231-920-1470 or email her at
