The Osceola County Sheriffâ??s Office is searching for a suspect who shot two people after they allegedly broke into the suspectâ??s marijuana growing operation.

Deputies say the marijuana growing operation was located in an unattached garage on the suspectâ??s property.

According to deputies, the incident happened around 4 a.m. Monday at a residence on 15 mile road near 130 Ave in Rose Lake Township.

Deputies say they were initially contacted by Cadillac Mercy Hospital when the victims of the shooting went there for treatment of injuries.

Deputies tell us they made contact with the victims. One victim was treated and released from the hospital but the second victim was transported and admitted to Munson Medical in Traverse City.

Deputies say the victims/suspects that were shot were allegedly breaking and entering to remove the marijuana plants from the growing operation. While removing the plants, the home owner confronted them and shot the two victims/suspects. It was reported a shotgun was used.

Deputies say they attempted to contact the home owner, but they have not been able to locate or make contact with the individual.

The victim/suspect that was treated and released from the hospital was arrested for home invasion and placed in the Osceola County Jail, deputies say. Charges will be filed for the victim/suspect admitted to Munson.

The incident remains under investigation.
