GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Grand Traverse County officials have determined that there was no harm intended to Traverse City Area Public Schools students after an unknown individual was seen near a bus stop.

According to TCAPS officials, students at a bus stop in the Herkner Road area reported seeing a vehicle and person unknown to them near the bus stop on Wednesday.

Officials said this is the second time this has happened this month.

Deputies were able to identify the vehicle's owner after a student took a photo of it.

TCAPS said a deputy was able to make contact with the individual and determine the man was in the area because he is a newspaper delivery driver and that is part of his route.

After a brief investigation, it was determined that the man did not intend to harm the students.
