Drivers reminded to clean off vehicle during winter after ice crashes into windshield

    CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Law enforcement is reminding motorists to clean off their cars after a car's windshield was damaged from loose ice.

    According to Chippewa County Central Dispatch, snow and ice accumulation from another car hit the windshield of a car behind them while traveling on M-129.

    Officials said as the weather warms up, the accumulation on your vehicle will break loose and fly off.

    Luckily, the victim was uninjured.

    According to Michigan law, motorists are required to clean their vehicle off completely during the winter months.
