Enjoy Saturday...changes coming Sunday
Enjoy the weather on Saturday. The sun will break thru the clouds at times...the wind will be light...but the temperatures will climb a little. It should be several degrees warmer than Friday. Highs will range from the middle 30s to lower 40s around northern Michigan. Wind 5-15 mph.
Saturday night look for clouds and patchy fog. Low temperatures will be in the 20s. Light wind.
Sunday we'll have some fog around and lots of low clouds. Highs will reach the 30s. Wind 5-15 mph. Thru the afternoon...look for rain showers to move into the southern parts of the Lower Peninsula.
That rain will spread across our region...and as the temperatures fall Sunday night...that rain will change to a mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow. The farther north you are...and the higher your elevation...the more likely you will see snow. Anywhere around our part of the state look for wet or icy roads.
Monday in the Upper Peninsula...look for mostly snow. In the Lower Peninsula...look for mostly rain. However, early in the day and in higher elevations in the Lower you will see a mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow. Highs Monday from the middle 20s in the U.P. to middle 30s in the central parts of the Lower.
Monday night the change will be complete. Any precipitation type you're seeing will change to all snow as the temperatures fall. Lows 15 to 25 degrees.
Tuesday...snow showers...highs in the 20s.
