Gaylord man arrested on arson charge
OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A Gaylord man is accused of intentionally setting a house fire back in April.
After a seven-month investigation, 35-year-old Jason Faubert was arrested Friday, October 12 on a second degree arson charge.
Just after 3 a.m. on April 30, 2018 a home in Bagley Township caught fire, according to Michigan State Police Troopers.
Investigators found it was an intentional fire and identified Faubert, who lives nearby, as the suspect.
Faubert was lodged in the Otsego County Jail and was arraigned on October 15.
His bond was set at $10,000.
Faubert will be back in court on November 1 for a preliminary exam.
