Going to stay chilly

DpSxo_8U4AANSx1.jpg

Cloudy, chilly day. Scattered light rain and snow are expected. The precipitation will be hard to measure because it will be so light...just enough to make the streets wet at times. And, yes, you could see some snow mixed with the rain. Highs today 38-42 degrees in the Upper Peninsula...38-48 degrees in the Lower Peninsula. Wind mainly from the west gusting to 20 mph.

Tonight...in the early evening...more clouds and chilly temperatures...and more light rain/snow...so wrap up for your high school football game. Later tonight the clouds break...call it partly cloudy after midnight. Lows 28 to 38 degrees. Wind 5-15 mph.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, but early in the day there will be some scattered, light rain and snow showers in the U.P. Highs 45-52 degrees. Wind 5-15 mph from the west.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy. Highs 44 to 56 degrees around northern Michigan. And we all have a chance for seeing a passing shower...mostly rain, but snow could be mixed with the rain in the U.P. and in higher elevations in the Lower.
