Keep an eye on Friday's weather


Showers today. Most of it rain, but in higher elevations you will see some snow, too. Little accumulation...if any. High temperatures around northern Michigan will be in the 35 to 42 degree range. Wind will gust from the southwest over 25 mph.

Tonight...light precipitation. In the early evening, mostly rain. As temperatures fall...the rain changes to snow. Little accumulation. Lows 28 to 35 degrees. Wind will turn to the northwest and gust to 25 mph.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy. A few flurries will fall, but little precipitation is expected. Highs 35 to 40 degrees. Wind 5-15 mph from the west.

Keep an eye on Friday. Snow is expected. From 1 to 4 inches of snow will be common. And we will see some snow on some roads. Highs 32 to 38 degrees.

Saturday...mostly cloudy...scattered light snow. Highs 25 to 35 degrees.

Sunday...cloudy...scattered light rain and snow snow showers. Highs 28 to 38 degrees..
