GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) – A man is facing theft charges after being accused of a crime spree in downtown traverse city.
It all started around noon last Thursday.
Police say the man tried to steal more than $700 worth of meat from Mode's Bum Steer.
After attempting to assault employees with a shovel, police say he then ran out the back door and was chased by staff into an alley.
A Flying Noodle employee helped tackle the suspect and held him until police arrived.
Police say they believe the suspect is the same man who stole $140 worth of CBD products from a wellness spa earlier that same day.
The man was arrested for larceny and obstructing police.
