MISSAUKEE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A northern Michigan man was arrested after crashing his car while running from law enforcement.
Around 3:45 a.m. Saturday Missaukee County Sheriff's Deputies got a report of a seasonal home possibly being broken into in Richland Township in Misaaukee County,
Deputies were given a description of the vehicle at the scene and found it near Seeley Road and Woodland Drive.
Deputies tried to pull over the driver but he sped away heading west on M-55 and getting on northbound US-131.
The driver continued on US-131 but crashed his vehicle near the M-42 exit, deputies said.
The driver was identified as a 23-year-old McBain man and was arrested for fleeing and eluding.
The investigation for breaking and entering is ongoing.
