Man threatens clerk's office after issue with voting
MANISTEE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A Manistee County man threatened a clerk's office after not being able to vote.
According to Manistee County Undersheriff Kenneth Falk the man came into the Dickson Township Hall at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday to vote but there was something wrong with his registration.
Falk said the man called the Isabella County Clerk and threatened to bomb or throw gasoline on the building and burn it down.
It's unclear why he called Isabella County.
The man's current address is in Manistee County, Falk said.
An officer went to the township hall until the last worker left, as a precaution.
Officers haven't made contact with the man yet, Falk said. The situation is still under investigation.
