Man turns himself in after domestic violence victim left with major injuries
CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The man wanted in Chippewa County for domestic assault has turned himself in.
James Perrault turned himself in to the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office Thursday afternoon, according to deputies.
Perrault is the suspect in a domestic assault that left the victim with major injuries on Tuesday in Rudyard, according to deputies.
He was wanted on a charge of aggravated domestic assault but also had a warrant for failure to appear from another domestic violence case and a warrant for property damage.
Deputies thanked the public for the tips and pressure on Perrault that resulted in his arrest.
He's in the Chippewa County Jail awaiting arraignment.
