Motorcyclist hospitalized after collision with dog


ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A 56-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital after colliding with a dog on his motorcycle.

It happened Saturday around 3 p.m. on West Drew Road in Sherman Township.

Isabella County deputies say the man from Ithaca was riding his motorcycle with a group of other riders when a dog ran into the roadway and into his path.

He then lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

Deputies say when first responded arrived, the man was unconscious but breathing and was flown to the hospital.

They say he suffered serious internal injuries, but his condition is unknown at this time.
