Michigan State Police: Bodies of missing couple possibly found
MISSAUKEE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Investigators have released new information in the search for the missing couple out of Missaukee County.
Michigan State Police believe they've found the bodies of Alexandria Foust, 19, and Jeff Hurley, 34.
During a press conference Monday, investigators said K-9 units found the bodies of two deceased people in an area inaccessible before.
Police say they are awaiting autopsy results before making a positive identification.
A cause of death is not being released.
Foust and Hurley were last seen in Prudenville on Tuesday, November 7.
The search for the couple began November 8 after two hunters reported the vehicle, which was found stuck in the mud off a two-track near Moorestown, by Dead Stream Swamp, in Missaukee County.
Investigators said the hunters heard cries for help in the woods while they were hunting around 7 p.m. that day.
Records show the couple's wallets and IDs were also found.
Due to firearm deer season and weather conditions, the search for Foust and Hurley was suspended on November 10.
