Petoskey man accused of exposing himself to woman outside Wal-Mart
EMMET COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A Petoskey area man was arrested after a woman claimed he exposed himself to her outside Wal-Mart.
On August 19, a 65-year-old woman called 911 and said a man asked her for directions outside the Petoskey Wal-Mart before exposing his genitals to her.
Michigan State Police Troopers began an investigation and reviewed surveillance footage to confirm the victim's account.
Troopers identified the suspect's vehicle and gave the description of vehicle to other law enforcement agencies.
On August 28, a Petoskey Department of Public Safety Officer found the vehicle which allowed troopers to identify the driver.
The case was sent to the Emmet County Prosecutor and on October 4 Joseph Hamma, 28, was arrested.
Hamma was arraigned Friday and charged with one count of indecent exposure.
