Photo captures 'upnorth' traffic in the Straits of Mackinac

STRAITS OF MACKINAC, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A picture taken this week is capturing a true 'upnorth' vibe, highlighting there is always something to see during the winter months when you live in northern Michigan!

The photo of a coyote and a Coast Guard ice cutter passing by each other was taken while Clark Bloswick was out fishing Wednesday morning.

Bloswick said he was about 1/3 of a mile SW of Mackinac Island when the coyote came from neighboring Round Island. Bloswick said the coyote was heading over to Mackinac Island while the U.S.C.G Cutter Hollyhock was heading in the opposite direction.
