All charges against Justin Odle were dropped.

PETOSKEY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- UPDATE: All charges against Justin Odle have been dropped.

A man was arrested after investigators said he stabbed and robbed another man in a drug deal.

Officers with Petoskey Public Safety were dispatched to McLaren Northern Michigan for a report of a man who had been stabbed.

According to the victim, he had given the man, later identified as 28-year-old Justin Odle, money and Odle walked away without exchanging the drugs.

When the victim tried to stop Odle, he turned around and stabbed him, officers said.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation led officers to Odle, who the victim was able to identify, according to officers.

Odle was arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder, false pretenses under $200 and habitual offender-fourth.

Odle will be back in court March 28 for a probable cause hearing and April 4 for a preliminary hearing.
