Prostate cancer open house to be held at Munson
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men and very curable if caught early, according to Munson Medical Center.
The Cowell Family Cancer Center at Munson is holding a Prostate Cancer Open House to talk with people and answer questions about treatment.
The open house is Wednesday, September 19 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
7&4's Chief Meteorologist Mark Watkins will be at the event to discuss his own prostate cancer and treatment at Munson.
Nurse navigators, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and urologists will also be there to answer questions.
Displays will show guests some of the state-of-the-art treatment options.
The event is at the cancer center at 217 S Madison Street in Traverse City.
