Retired Roscommon County K9 officer died
ROSCOMMON COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A retired K9 officer from Roscommon County has died.
The Roscommon County Sheriff's Office announced Monday that retired K9 officer Yeff died over the weekend.
Yeff served with his partner Sheriff Edward Stern from 2006 to 2016 before retiring.
In 2016, the county commission approved for Yeff to spend his retirement with Sheriff Stern and his family.
Yeff lived with the family until he passed.
In a Facebook post the sheriff's office said, "Thank you, Yeff for your service to our community. Rest in peace, we will hold the line from here."
