Reward increased for information leading to vandalism arrest.

CHARLEVOIX COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Law enforcement has doubled the reward for information leading to an arrest in a vandalism case.

More people have added money to the reward offered to anyone with information about the "offensive graffiti" found a the Holiness Church Camp Park in Boyne City.

$500 is now being offered leading to the arrest of the vandal or vandals.

The morning of Monday, September 17 multiple people reported seeing offensive words spray painted on the side of a historic building on North Park Street in Boyne City.

The graffiti included the words, "death to cops", "God is dead", "mafia", and a swear word towards God.

Police believe the incident happened late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

There were also offensive images, including what looked like a swastika, spray painted on a nearby sidewalk.
