Rollover crash closes portion of Grand Traverse County road

A portion of Four Mile Road in Grand Traverse County is closed due to a rollover crash.

GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A portion of a Grand Traverse County road is closed after a rollover crash.

According to Grand Traverse 911, North Four Mile Road between US-31 and East Hammond Road is closed until further notice.

Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route and to take it slow.

Homeowners can access the south end up to Glendale and from the north down to Finnila Lane.

According to the Grand Traverse County sheriff, the male driver lost control of his vehicle on the ice and went into the creek.

The driver and his son were not injured in the crash.

Hazmat crews are on scene.

Investigators believe up to 30 gallons of various fluids from the vehicle made it into the creek.
