Senate candidate John James holds rally in Traverse City
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- There are just weeks until election day across Michigan and John James, the Republican candidate for Senate, spoke to a room full of supporters Friday.
James held a rally at Streeters in Traverse City.
The Republican candidate is on the campaign trail in northern Michigan with Congressman Jack Bergman.
The rally was part of his "Protect the American Dream" tour.
Streeters was filled with supporters to cheer on James, Bergman and other local Republican politicians.
"We have a choice in this great nation," said James. "We have a choice of who we will elect to lead us and I believe there is no substitute for experience."
James is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Senator Debbie Stabenow.
