Shoreline Fruit announces partnership with CherryFlex Inc.
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A northern Michigan fruit company is expanding its product line through a new partnership.
Traverse City based Shoreline Fruit announced an investment in CherryFlex Inc.
The co-founders of CherryFlex Inc. are retiring and sold their shares of the company to Shoreline Fruit.
CherryFlex Inc. specializes in fruit-based supplements and vitamins.
"Our goal is that CherryFlex will be a key supplier for both ingredients and supplements for cherries, blueberries and other whole fruit products,” said Corey Geer, CFO of Shoreline Fruit. “There is a trend in the supplement world that customers are looking for whole fruit-based supplements, and we could see millions of pounds of cherries going through this processing facility."
Shoreline Fruit hopes the partnership will continue to grow its products on a global scale.
