Suspect arrested after multiple reports of butt-groping on U.P. college campus

MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- An Upper Peninsula college student was arrested for grabbing women's butts on campus.

Caleb Anderson, 19, is accused of assaulting women on the campus on Northern Michigan University, the Marquette County Prosecuting Attorney's Office told our sister station WLUC.

Anderson was arrested and charged with multiple counts of fourth degree criminal sexual conduct.

Reports indicate that Anderson would run up to unsuspecting women, grab them on their buttocks against their will, and then run away.

The investigation began when this type of assault was reported in mid-January 2019.
