Suspected drug dealer arrested in Upper Peninsula

A 36-year-old Iron River man was arrested Tuesday after a months long investigation done by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.

IRON COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- An Upper Peninsula man was arrested after a months long drug investigation.

Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) said the investigation was for the delivery of heroin and methamphetamine in the Iron River.

Investigators said crystal methamphetamine, a suspected drug cutting agent, digital scales, suspected steroids and suspected prescription pills were seized during a search on Tuesday.

A 36-year-old Iron River man was arrested in connection to the investigation.

He is facing two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, delivery of heroin, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.

The man's name is being withheld pending arraignment.

The investigation is ongoing and UPSET said additional arrests are possible.
