Teen injured after crash with cement truck
WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A teenage girl was flown to a downstate hospital after a crash with a cement truck.
Just before 11 a.m. Friday, Wexford County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a crash on East Boon Road near Hanthorne Street in Haring Township.
A 17-year-old girl pulled into the path of a cement truck driven by a 36-year-old man from Marion, according to deputies.
The girl had to be extracted from her vehicle using the jaws of life before being flown to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids for treatment, deputies said.
Her condition is unknown.
The driver of the cement truck was uninjured and there were no passengers in either vehicle, according to deputies.
