Three tips for the perfect cup of coffee: Inside the Roaster Jack tasting room
TRAVERSE CITY, Mi. (WPBN/WGTU)--The Roaster Jack coffee company has a tasting room with several different ways you can brew coffee. Owner and founder "Roaster" Jack Davis, says all you need is three things.
The most important thing you can get your hands on is a scale; after that a thermometer and a timer. Those three things will make it much easier to make your own recipe and make better coffee without having to spend a ton of money.
From there, you can weigh the amount of beans you'd like to use and vary the degree in the temperature of water to make your brew more distinct or light. Your combination fits your taste buds.
For help on how to get started, you can check out Roaster Jack's coffee-dedicated tasting room. They'll recreate the coffee making process at home using different brewing machines one cup at a time-- similar to a winery.
Roaster Jack coffee doesn't sell single coffee cups, but they do sell bags in chain stores like Oryanas Natural Foods Market, Burritts fresh market, online, or in their physical stores.
Customers can come to the tasting room to try before they buy. Located just off of East silver lake road in Traverse City, the coffee company does take walk in appointments. For more information about Roaster Jack, their types of coffee, and more CLICK HERE.
